Muay Thai is a kick boxing sport
Muay Thai is a kick boxing sport which has been originated from Thailand. It is also known as the Art of Eight limbs. The reason for this name is that this sport uses all the eight points of contact which include the knees and elbows for kick and punches.
This sport has become an international sport which is being recognised all over the world. With the increasing fan following, many training camps are being open to train the people interested in this sport. One can learn this sport in any of the training centres as all have the state of the art techniques. But the difference in learning this art in Thailand and the other parts of the world is the ambience and atmosphere. One can feel the sport from the bottom of the heart making it learn quickly.
Many people who wish to learn this sport think that language may be a barrier for the trainees. But this is just a myth. The trainers of Muay Thai in Thailand are well equipped with the common language English. This will make it easy for the trainer as well as the trainee to go ahead with the training camps.
This sport needs a lot of physical stamina. It is a very tiring sport at the end of the day. One cannot just enrol for fun and end up not learning it completely. However the one who completes this training is very strong physically and has the ability to focus on other things as well. This sport is a type of kick boxing and it requires a lot of attention as the striker can attack at any point of time without any alert.
There are a lot of travellers who visit Thailand each year for a holiday. They can also learn this sport during their stay and go home and brag about their knowledge and skills.
