Why should boys have all the fun? There is no official rule or statement which says that women can't participate or learn Muay Thai. However it is very beneficial for Women in terms of fitness, Muay Thai involves too much physical activity and it helps women stay in shape. The physical movements help keep their body fit and also help in shredding some pounds. All this and you still get to learn one of the best self-defense and combat sport which will surely help in boosting your confidence. Today in this article I will explain why Muay Thai training is good for women and what benefits it can bring to the lovely ladies.
Muay Thai is a combat sport, as well as an exercise which one can perform for fitness. It is the personal preference what one chooses, some people choose weight lifting, some go for jogging, running etc. some like to practice martial arts like Muay Thai, Karate, Judo, Taek won do etc. Some people also prefer Boxing, wrestling, bodybuilding or the easiest yet the toughest and not healthy method of dieting. Dieting is good only until you do it properly and combined with any of the above listed sports. By dieting I mean eating balanced diet, eating healthy and avoiding junk food.
Why Muay Thai is good for Women?
Muay Thai is a fighting sport and involves kicks, punches, flexible moves and stuff which can knock the hell out of the opponent. Women are considered weak in our society and are often victim of misbehaving, eveteasing, rape etc. Today it is very important for women to learn self-defense art, not necessarily Muay Thai, any self-defense art will do. This art will help them in protecting themselves in such situations. Knowing such art helps boost confidence and removes the fear of going to deserted places during nights. If you know how to protect yourself, you can live your life on your own terms.
